      <image:caption>Luke is a director of photography from Taipei, Taiwan. After graduating from Emerson college with a bachelor degree in film, he moved to New York and began working as a gaffer and camera assistant, before eventually transitioning into the field of cinematography. He has served as cinematographer on a wide variety of projects, but is primarily focused on narrative films. As a cinematographer, Luke’s greatest strengths are his keen grasp on narrative structure and his versatility. He is wholly committed to crafting bespoke visuals that prioritize the story of each piece he works on. Luke is the recipient of the 2026 ARRI Volker Bahnemann Award for Outstanding cinematography, and his narrative films have been featured in major international film festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, Palms Springs, and SXSW London. Luke is based out of New York City, and is currently a MFA candidate at NYU Tisch’s Graduate Film Program.
